Rotary Selects Students of the Month

December Rotary Students of the Month Recognized

Ridgeview High School students Billy Brant and Kaci Sage were selected as Redmond Rotary Students of the Month for December 2013.

Student Nomination Details:

Billy Brant – “Billy has been an exemplary student in AP Language. He wrote and performed a song for the class in a project to show his interpretation and understanding of a character from the novel that we were reading, and he wrote an excellent five-page research paper on concussions and how our current system for testing is flawed and antiquated. Billy is almost perfect in class; active in drama and TV production. Great kid; very respectful and hardworking!”

Kaci Sage “Kaci has been a committed and involved Raven since her first day at Ridgeview High School.  Kaci is a member of student leadership as a class officer and is a key planner of many of our school events.  Each fall you will find Kaci proudly introducing visitors and students to the school she loves, first as a member of its “Ridgecrew,” and this year as a freshmen mentor.  Kaci is a third year varsity volleyball player.  Between volleyball and her leadership activities, Kaci spends many long days at the school. Her smile can light up the room and her energy is contagious.  Kaci truly embodies the Raven culture that she helped to build.”

These two students were recognized at the monthly Redmond Rotary Club meeting held at Ridgeview High School on Thursday, December 5. For questions or more information, please contact Lee Loving, Principal, at 541-504-3600.
