Redmond High School students Trey Conley, Ryan Schmid and Arron Park have been selected to participate in the Oregon All-State High School Jazz Band.
The Oregon Music Education Association All-State Jazz Band is comprised of the best 18 high school jazz musicians in the state. This year nearly 150 students submitted applications. This event is the backbone of OMEA’s efforts to provide quality experiences for music students and professional development for music educators.
OMEA shares, “Music education is an integral part of a complete education. It is one of the ways in which you prepare students to be high achievers and life-long learners.”
These RHS students will participate in the OMEA Conference and All-State performance held in Eugene January 12 through 14 at the Eugene Hilton and Conference Center.
