Redmond High School Boys Cross Country wins Academic All-State Award

Redmond High School’s boys cross country team recently earned first place honors for the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) Academic All-State Award due to their combined grade point average of 4.0.

“I am extremely proud of each one of these boys, who strive for excellence in every area of their lives,” Melissa Conley, head cross country coach said. “The way they conduct themselves in the classroom, is the same way they pursue accomplishment in their sport, and in their character. It is a privilege to work with such highly motivated young men!”

Each member of the team will receive a magnet, sling bag, pen and certificate. Additionally, the team will receive a plaque to be displayed at Redmond High.
