A total of 340 students will be graduating from Redmond School District’s two high schools. Both schools report a high percentage of college bound students with approximately 72% of graduating seniors moving on to college or trade school. Another 7% of the district’s graduating seniors are moving on to serve in the armed forces and 21% plan to enter the workforce.
“Redmond School District is proud to celebrate these 340 graduates this week,” Superintendent Mike McIntosh shares. “On behalf of our board of directors and the entire district team, we wish the class of 2015 all the best as they pursue life beyond our classrooms!”
Redmond School District would like to remind the public that graduation ceremonies are formal events and the use of noisemakers or other distractions are strongly discouraged out of respect to students and their families.
